BLS E-Services said on 16 February that it had signed a binding term sheet to acquire all of Atyati Technologies, a Bengaluru company whose platforms let banking correspondents deliver financial services in rural India, for a consideration based on an equity value of ₹154 crore.
Why BLS E-Services Ltd is buying Atyati Technologies Pvt Ltd
BLSe said the purchase would strengthen its relationships with public and private sector banks and give it immediate access to Atyati's micro-lending platform, opening higher-margin credit distribution. Combining Atyati's 25,900 customer service points with BLSe's 46,000 would create a network of more than 70,000 touchpoints.
“This strategic fit enables us to further expand our reach and deepen our impact across underserved communities.”
Deal terms and financing
The acquisition is all cash and the price was subject to conditions in the definitive agreement. BLSe said at completion that it paid about ₹157 crore.
Regulatory approvals and timing
Completion was originally expected by 31 March 2026, subject to lender, bank and any regulatory or shareholder approvals. BLSe filed an update on 31 March and announced on 2 July 2026 that it had completed the purchase of 100% of Atyati.
Market context
Atyati was founded in 2006 and operates the Ganaseva, Swayam and Aayam platforms, serving more than 35 banks and financial institutions. Genpact bought the company in 2012 for $23.4m, according to Venture Intelligence.
