Germany's Federal Cartel Office on 24 September approved Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holtzbrinck acquiring sole control of Zeit Verlagsgruppe, publisher of the weekly Die Zeit. The group is taking over the half held by Dieter von Holtzbrinck Medien.
