Why Incyte Corporation is buying Vega Therapeutics, Inc. (subsidiary of Star Therapeutics)

Incyte said VGA039 is a first-in-class phase 3 asset that could become a growth driver in hematology. It could be the first subcutaneous prophylactic therapy for von Willebrand disease, where current factor replacement often needs two or three intravenous infusions a week.
