Amdocs has acquired EIS, an insurance technology provider, for approximately US$340m in cash, the company said on 3 November 2026 as it reported fiscal fourth-quarter results. Further payments may follow if performance targets are met.

Why Amdocs Limited is buying EIS (EIS Group)

Amdocs said insurance shares traits with telecoms, including highly regulated environments, mission-critical platforms and data-intensive workflows. EIS adds an AI-native core platform, an established global customer base and expertise in life and annuities and property and casualty, and Amdocs described insurance as a strategic medium- to long-term growth engine that significantly expands its addressable market.

Deal terms and financing

Amdocs paid approximately US$340m in cash, with additional consideration potentially payable later if certain performance metrics are achieved. Its GAAP earnings guidance excludes the impact of the deal, while its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance includes an inorganic contribution from EIS.

Market context

EIS, formerly Exigen Insurance Solutions, is based in San Francisco and has about 700 employees. Its platform covers policy administration, billing, claims and customer engagement, and Amdocs plans to integrate its aOS agentic operating system with it.
