Ara Partners said on 14 October 2026 that its Ara Infrastructure strategy had acquired a majority interest in Pacific Ag, which describes itself as North America's largest crop residue supply and logistics company.

Why Ara Partners (Ara Infrastructure) is buying Pacific Ag (majority interest)

Ara said the investment reflects its waste-to-value focus. Pacific Ag harvests, stores and delivers excess residue so farmers do not need to buy equipment or add labour, and sells it as feedstock to livestock and mushroom producers.

“Our investment is a clear expression of our waste-to-value focus, turning residue into a productive resource.”George Yong, Partner and Co-Head of Ara Infrastructure

Deal terms and financing
