AtkinsRéalis has acquired the remaining equity interest in David Evans Enterprises, Inc. for about US$130m in cash, making the US engineering consultancy a wholly owned subsidiary, the Montreal-based group said on 3 November 2026.

Why AtkinsRéalis Group Inc. is buying David Evans Enterprises, Inc. (remaining 30% interest)

AtkinsRéalis said the two businesses' complementary geographic reach and engineering capabilities already support large infrastructure programmes, and that full ownership would accelerate integration and let it offer its full range of capabilities to clients across transportation, water, power and other infrastructure markets in the US.

“Acquiring the remaining ownership interest is a natural next step”Ian L. Edwards, President and Chief Executive Officer, AtkinsRéalis
