Bilt, the housing rewards company, has agreed to acquire LAVA, a sports and entertainment loyalty technology provider, in a US$300m deal, the company said on 2 November 2026.

Why Bilt is buying LAVA

Bilt said the deal extends its neighbourhood commerce and rewards network to sports fans. LAVA provides real-time loyalty, identity, stored-value and engagement technology, including AI tools, to teams and venues.

Deal terms and financing

Bilt put the value of the deal at US$300m. It did not say how the price will be paid.

Market context

LAVA works with 56 franchises across the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and MLS, including the Detroit Lions, Denver Nuggets, Carolina Hurricanes and LAFC. Bilt launched in 2021 to reward rent payments and has since added mortgages, HOA fees and travel. It was valued at US$10.75bn in July 2025 and bought travel-adviser platform Sion earlier this year.
