IGNIS has completed the sale of a 656 MW portfolio of renewable energy projects in Italy to flyRen Energy Group SpA, the Spanish group said on 27 October 2026.

IGNIS said the sale is part of its asset rotation strategy and will let it pursue new growth in Italy, one of its strategic markets, where it is developing generation, storage and data centre projects. For flyRen it is the first external growth deal since Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners II took a majority stake.
Deal terms and financing
The portfolio comprises 28 solar PV, battery-hybrid and wind projects at various stages of development across several Italian regions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Market context
flyRen said the deal takes its portfolio above 2 GW, according to Italian press reports.
