Hitachi Energy Sweden AB has exercised its option to acquire the companies that own its new logistics centre in Ludvika, central Sweden, from Logistri Fastighets AB at an agreed property value of about SEK1,382m, Logistri said on 29 October 2026.

Why Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is buying Logistri's Ludvika project companies (Ludvika Gonäs 1:178 and 1:181 logistics centre)

Under the option agreement Hitachi Energy had the right to acquire the property-owning companies, and thus indirectly the properties, on completion of the project. Logistri said the sale frees up capital and lifts its acquisition capacity to about SEK1.6bn.

Deal terms and financing

The agreed value is based on the option's original SEK1,354m plus alterations and additional work and may be adjusted for further orders until completion. Logistri expects net proceeds of about SEK683m after repaying building credits and final settlement with its development partner Torngrund, which is also expected to receive about 5.3 million Logistri class B shares at SEK16.5 each.

Regulatory approvals and timing

The parties are to enter into a share purchase agreement during the fourth quarter of 2026, with possession on completion of the project, expected on 12 April 2027.

Market context

The 103,000 sq m logistics centre, one of Sweden's largest new construction projects, supports the expansion of Hitachi Energy's operations in Ludvika. Logistri's other portfolio was valued at about SEK3bn at 30 September 2026.
