Why Temenos AG is buying additiv AG

Temenos said additiv strengthens its wealth management offering with native mass-affluent capabilities and a proven AI-enabled orchestration layer, and will help it support more complex onboarding and origination journeys and cross-sell to its client base.

Deal terms and financing

Temenos is buying 100% of additiv, paying roughly half in cash and half in shares. The price was not disclosed; IFBC provided a fairness opinion to Temenos' board. Temenos expected the deal to be marginally accretive to its 2026 ARR and subscription and SaaS guidance and neutral for EBIT, EPS and free cash flow.

The acquisition completed on 17 July 2026.

Market context

additiv was founded by Michael Stemmle, has about 200 staff and 30 wealth, banking and insurance clients, and says implementations take three to six months against an industry norm of about 12.
