Viaplay Group has completed the sale of its Dutch streaming and broadcasting operations to Videoland, the platform owned by Belgian publisher DPG Media, for €142m on a cash and debt free basis, the Swedish company said on 30 October 2026.

Why DPG Media (Videoland) is buying Viaplay Group's Dutch streaming and broadcasting operations

Viaplay is refocusing on its core Nordic markets and using the proceeds to deleverage. For DPG Media, the deal brings Viaplay's Dutch subscribers and sports rights, including Formula 1 and Premier League football, into Videoland.
