Fintel plc said on 23 October 2026 that it had acquired the remaining equity of Mortgage Brain Holdings, a UK mortgage technology provider, for £38.4m net of cash, taking full ownership after buying a 5.8% stake in 2024.

Why Fintel plc is buying Mortgage Brain Holdings Limited (remaining 94.2%)

Fintel said the deal strengthens its Software & Data division with mortgage sourcing, criteria, affordability, CRM and submissions tools, and positions it as a software provider across wealth, mortgage and multi-disciplinary advice firms. Mortgage Brain already integrates with Plannr, the adviser platform in which Fintel holds 49%.
