Deal terms and financing

The exclusivity agreement contemplates an enterprise value of R$12.7bn for CSN Cimentos. CSN said it intends to sign the definitive sale documents within a matter of days. Huaxin made the most advantageous proposal in the competitive process CSN launched in March 2026.

CSN said on 20 October that negotiations were in their final stage and dropped a possible IPO of the cement business as an alternative. The company said it would keep the market informed of material developments.
