L.I.T. AG has signed an agreement to acquire the entire Duvenbeck Group, a Bocholt-based transport and contract logistics provider with about 5,000 employees, the companies said on 30 October 2026. The price was not disclosed.

Why L.I.T. AG (L.I.T. Group) is buying Duvenbeck Group (from Waterland-led owners)

L.I.T. wants to strengthen its automotive logistics business. Duvenbeck's road and production and contract logistics units serve vehicle makers and suppliers, while L.I.T. is strong in Northern and Western Europe; the deal extends its network south and east.

“With the L.I.T. Group, we are gaining a future owner that knows the industry and shares our ambitions.”Richard Hell, Interim CEO, Duvenbeck Group

Deal terms and financing

L.I.T. will buy 100% of Duvenbeck. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Regulatory approvals and timing

Completion is subject to customary conditions, including antitrust clearance, and is expected later in 2026.

Market context

Duvenbeck's majority owner, private equity firm Waterland, bought into the family company in 2022 and is reported to have hired PwC in February 2026 to find a buyer after financial difficulties. L.I.T. CEO Fokke Fels told VerkehrsRundschau that the two businesses complement each other strongly and that Duvenbeck's restructuring will continue.
